Is CML Studio an official TikTok product?
No. CML Studio is an independent service that uses TikTok developer products. It is not owned, endorsed, certified, or operated by TikTok.
Does CML Studio ask for my TikTok password?
No. TikTok account connection uses TikTok OAuth. TikTok handles its own login and authorization pages, and CML Studio never receives your TikTok password.
Which TikTok permissions does the service use?
The current workflow uses user.info.basic to identify an authorized account and video.publish for Creator Info, Direct Post, video transfer, and publishing status. CML Studio does not use the Upload-to-draft workflow.
What videos can I upload?
CML Studio accepts MP4 files up to 1 GB and validates supported codecs, dimensions, duration, and basic media metadata. TikTok account-specific duration limits are checked against the latest Creator Info before publishing.
Why do privacy choices vary between accounts?
CML Studio displays only the privacy_level_options returned by TikTok for the currently connected creator. It does not invent unavailable choices or select a privacy level automatically.
Why might SELF ONLY be the only option?
TikTok may limit visibility for private accounts or particular account settings. CML Studio follows the options returned for the connected creator rather than bypassing platform restrictions.
Can CML Studio publish automatically or in bulk?
No. The current workflow prepares one selected video at a time and requires the user to review the creator, video, caption, privacy, interaction settings, disclosures, and publishing declaration before transfer.
How long does publishing take?
TikTok processes uploads asynchronously, so a post may remain processing for several minutes. Publishing History provides a Refresh status action and displays the final published or failed state returned by TikTok.
How long is an uploaded video kept?
CML Studio removes the server copy after TikTok confirms successful publishing. A daily cleanup also removes uploads more than 72 hours old when no publishing job is still initializing, uploading, or processing.
Can I disconnect TikTok and delete associated data?
Yes. Use Disconnect in the TikTok Account section to remove the local authorization record. For deletion of additional associated data, email support@pigcml.top from the address linked to your CML Studio access.
