This policy explains how CML Studio collects, uses, stores, and protects information.

Information we collect

We process administrator account details, authentication records, preferences, captions, publishing settings, uploaded media metadata, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

TikTok OAuth and authorized accounts

CML Studio can connect a TikTok account that you authorize through TikTok OAuth. Access and refresh tokens are stored server-side using authenticated encryption and used only for TikTok API operations you actively request. Tokens are not publicly displayed. Disconnect removes the local authorization data.

Uploaded videos

Videos may be stored temporarily for validation and transfer to TikTok. Temporary copies are removed after confirmed processing or under the retention policy. Do not upload content you lack the right to use.

Logs and cookies

Limited logs may include IP address, time, browser information, endpoint, request identifiers, errors, and security events, but not tokens or secrets. Essential secure cookies maintain administrator sessions.

Use and security

Data is used to authenticate access, perform requested publishing operations, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. Safeguards include HTTPS, access controls, secure cookies, encrypted token storage, and restricted file permissions. No system guarantees absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained only as reasonably needed for operation, security, legal obligations, or disputes. You may disconnect an account or request access or deletion by email; identity may be verified first.

Third parties

TikTok is a third-party platform. TikTok-related processing is also governed by TikTok policies. CML Studio does not claim certification or endorsement by TikTok.
