Creator-controlled video publishing
CML Studio helps creators prepare original video content and publish it to TikTok accounts they have explicitly authorized.
This public guide explains the purpose, permissions, and complete user flow of CML Studio's live TikTok integration. It contains no credentials or sensitive account information.
CML Studio helps creators prepare original video content and publish it to TikTok accounts they have explicitly authorized.
The service is designed for users publishing their own content or content they are authorized to manage—not for copying arbitrary third-party media.
CML Studio does not silently publish, bulk-post, or make privacy decisions for the user. Every post requires review and explicit consent.
The current CML Studio application uses Login Kit and the Content Posting API Direct Post flow. It does not use the Upload-to-draft workflow.
user.info.basicCompletes TikTok OAuth and identifies the connected account using the minimum basic account information returned with authorization.TikTok authorization and connected-account identityvideo.publishLoads Creator Info, initializes a user-confirmed Direct Post, transfers the selected MP4, and fetches publishing status.Review settings, Publish to TikTok, and Publishing Historyvideo.uploadTikTok's Developer Portal lists this permission with the Content Posting API. CML Studio does not request it in OAuth and does not call the Upload-to-draft workflow. Not used by the CML Studio workflowThe authorization request is deliberately limited to user.info.basic and video.publish. The live application uses Login Kit and Direct Post from authorization through final publishing status.
CML Studio's TikTok Production application is live. Privacy and interaction choices are always loaded from Creator Info for the connected account; CML Studio never adds unavailable options.
The Production workflow uses TikTok's live authorization and Content Posting API on the same CML Studio domain and interface described here.
Use your CML Studio account to open the authenticated publishing workspace. Account credentials are never published on this website.
Continue to TikTok's official authorization page, review the requested permissions, authorize the account, and return to the CML Studio publishing workspace. The authorization page is always presented during this flow.
Choose an MP4 from the user's device. CML Studio validates its file type, size, codec, dimensions, and duration and provides a private preview.
CML Studio requests the latest creator identity, privacy options, interaction restrictions, and maximum video duration from TikTok.
Edit the caption, manually select an available privacy level, review Comment, Duet, Stitch, and commercial-content settings, then accept the publishing declaration.
Select Publish to TikTok. The video is transferred only after confirmation. Publishing History automatically checks processing jobs and also provides a manual refresh action until TikTok returns a final state.
Sign in to CML Studio, then use TikTok's official authorization page to connect an account you own or are authorized to manage. Connected accounts can be disconnected from the publishing workspace.
